GroundworkTC's video: Trial Director 360 Speed Test 3 - The Third Speed Test

@Trial Director 360 Speed Test 3 - The Third Speed Test
This week, I test how two different computers fare when loading up a case file full of Save Stages. Now, save stages are something that I have always been a big fan of, but in Trial Director 6, creating more than a few save stages would typically end up bogging down a presentation and even causing instability. So for today, I once again pitted the Dell XPS 13, which is no slouch with an SSD, 8GB RAM, and a 7th gen core i7 quad core processor. Against that, I tested the Acer Triton 700 with 16B of RAM and a GTX 1060 with 6GB of RAM. I anticipated that there would be almost no difference between the two systems. But, I was surprised to find that there was a very noticeable difference, not only in presenting save stages when comparing a computer with a graphics card and a computer without, but also in simply navigating through a casefile that was a bit more fleshed out than some of the test files I'd been working with in the past. Ultimately, after three speed tests, my mind is now changed, and I believe that you do need at least some form of discrete graphics to be able to satisfactorily run TD360. I'm not quite certain that you need 6GB of video RAM, but I think an Intel 620 just isn't going to cut it. ----- twitter: @groundworktc ig: groundworktc web: groundworktc.com ♫Music By♫ ●Kashtrø feat Leo Xia - This Chance [Bass Rebels Release] ●Song - https://youtu.be/Ub5aMxTBsfQ ●Download/Stream - https://www.bassrebels.co.uk/ThisChance
