In The Sims 4: Cool Kitchen Stuff, the ice cream maker can be used to create ice cream, which will temporarily give a Sim the appearance of a PlantSim, as well as a moodlet that urges them to spend time outside. This does not appear to affect the Sim's hair or clothes.
