Here is a quick look at one of our new pie iron concoctions. It made its debut last weekend when Karl and I put on a missive pie iron demo at the Boy Scout Klondike Derby nearby. We were setup at the finish line where we let the scouts make one of four different treats that we had ingredients for. We had about 50 pie irons available for use and over 20 loaves of bread. 3 fires were pumping out coals continuously. In about 3 hours the youth made over 200 pie iron delicacies. Each was delighted that they made it themselves!
