What is the purpose of this Resolution Framework? The purpose of this Framework is to provide relief to borrowers affected by the Covid19 pandemic. 2. How do I know that I am eligible for Resolution under this framework? A borrower will be considered as affected by Covid-19 pandemic, if any of the following conditions are fulfilled: i. Reduction in Salary/ Income over Feb 2020 levels ii. Reduction/suspension in salary during lockdown period iii.Job Loss/closure of business iv. Closure during lockdown/reduced activity of units/shops/business establishments in case of self-employed/professionals/businessmen v. No reduction in salary but Self and family members affected by COVID & incurred substantial expenditure on treatment of Covid -19 3. Which are the Loans covered under this Framework? The following loans are covered under the Framework: i. Housing and other related Loans ii. Education Loans iii. Auto Loans (other than loans for commercial use) iv. Personal Loans 4. Are all the Loans under above categories eligible? No. To be eligible under the Framework, the following eligibility conditions need to be fulfilled: i. Your loan should be a "Standard Account" as on 31.03.2021. ii. You should have been affected by Covid-19 pandemic and fulfil any of the conditions stated in FAQ No.2 above. iii.You have not availed Moratorium under earlier Restructuring Frame work However, if you have availed moratorium under earlier Restructuring Framework 1.0 for less than 24 months, you may apply for extension of the same up to 24 months. For example, if have availed moratorium of 18 months under RF 1.0, you may apply to extend it to 6 more months so that total moratorium under both the framework does not exceed 24 months. 5. How to apply for relief under above Framework. You will be able to apply online on our website (www.sbi.co.in)/bank.sbi) The application will be validated by means of an OTP which you will receive on your Mobile Number. Alternatively, you can also visit the Branch where your account is maintained and submit your applications there along with required documents. 6. What are the documents to be uploaded/submitted while applying? Copies of the following documents may be uploaded or may be submitted along with the application form at the Home Branch / CPC. i. Salary slips / Income document for the month of Feb 2020. ii. A declaration of estimated salary/income immediately after the end of the desired moratorium period (Maximum 24 months). iii. Letter of discharge / termination from job (in case of job loss). iv. Account statements of the account where salary is credited in case of salaried employees or statement of Operating Account in case of businessmen/self-employed/professionals for last six months as on date of application. v. RTPCR Reports/Hospitalisation and other related medical bills (Optional) vi. Simple declaration from the Self-employed Professionals/ Businessman declaring that their business is affected by COVID-19 Businessmen / Self-employed / Professionals i. Provisional Profit & Loss A/c as on Feb/March 2020, ii. Provisional Profit & Loss A/c as on date. If this is not available, the latest P&L will need to be worked out on the basis of revenue and income statement of operating A/C. iii. Any other document as a proof of reduction in income, if available iv. Account statements of Operating Account in case of businessmen/self-employed/professionals for the period for last 6 months from the date of submission of application for relief, are to be provided to Home Branch / CPC. v. RTPCR Reports/Hospitalisation and other related medical bills (Optional) vi. Simple declaration from the Self-employed Professionals/ Businessman declaring that their business is affected by COVID-19 7. Up to what date can I apply for relief under the Framework? The last date to apply for relief under the Framework is 28.09.2021 at the portal. On successful application and reference generated, please submit the documents and applications at your CPC/ Home branch for invocation. 8. What are the relief/relaxations available under the Framework? The following relief/relaxations may be sanctioned under the Framework subject to compliance of bank norms: i. Moratorium of up to 24 months. ii. Rescheduling of instalments and extension of tenure by a period equivalent to the moratorium granted subject to a maximum of 2 years.
