Mahadev is a temple on the river at 86KM from on the Daringbadi- road. This place is not only famous for the temple but the adventure and wildlife also. Fishing is banned here but feeding the fishes has become a trendy culture as the playful fishes collect the foods from humans very happily. Not limited to that, the place is reachable via Bamboo made temporary bridges which will give you goosebumps while crossing, a little adventure to add. Don't hesitate to go with your family and if you are finding some spiritualism on the Daringbadi tour, stop here for a picnic and ask the priest for Prasad from the temple and enjoy with your family and friends. The nearby mountains provide good enough joy to hike around. The entry is free but a parking fee applies. And don't forget to buy some fish food being sold near parking to feed the fishes. The temple remains completely waterlogged in monsoon and hence you can visit here in Winter and Summer season only. The nearby Jaleshpata Ashram by Late Lakhmanananda Saraswati is a place of visit for those who want to make some charity to the orphanage and experience some peace in the Ashram environment.
