In this video, we will guide you through the meticulous process of crafting body paragraphs that compare and contrast important features depicted in illustrations. Our goal is to provide you with the necessary stages and tips to enhance your writing. The first three stages involve planning the report. Stage 1 emphasizes making observations, including analyzing the data's theme, years mentioned, and entities are shown. Stage 2 focuses on selecting the most significant features from the visual while avoiding excessive discussion of common figures or values. Stage 3 addresses the distribution of data, especially in combination graph questions, where a logical division of information between the bodies is crucial. The last stage is where we actually pen down the data shown in visuals. It's important to note that personal opinions or inferences should be excluded, and only the information presented in the graphs should be included. To illustrate the process, we provide a sample writing task on water usage percentages in different regions. The key steps of observation, information selection, data sorting, and execution are demonstrated through two body paragraphs. Body 1 focuses on agricultural water usage, highlighting Central Asia and Africa as major consumers compared to Europe. Body 2 examines industrial and domestic water usage, emphasizing the differences among regions. Remember to plan your body paragraphs by following all stages, selecting relevant information, including numbers or percentages from the illustrations, and using appropriate discourse markers. Avoid adding personal ideas or opinions, and stay within the prescribed word limit.
