People behind "American Sniper" production have decided to omit the final scene showing Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle's death at a Texas firing range in 2013. Speaking to New York Daily News, screenwriter Jason Hall revealed that he wrote five scenarios on how to approach the scene, but the team eventually decided not to use them following a request by Taya, Chris' widow. "Five days after Chris was murdered, (Taya) called and said, 'This is going to be how my children remember their father, so I want you to get right,' " Hall shared. "In the end, I think we felt that this was a film about Chris' life and not about his death. We also wanted to be careful not to glorify the guy who did it."
