Reverend Guitars are solid, well made, reasonably priced and come in a variety of styles to suit any player. Fat, raw and bluesy but with just the right amount of bite to cut through. Positions 2 and 4 on the pickup selector deliver classic “quack” but with a thicker tonality. An amazing guitar for both clean and distorted tones with enough twang for surf, but thick enough for rock. Specs: CP90 BRIDGE Slightly hotter than a vintage P90. Raw, classic tone with slightly less hum than most other P90’s. 42 gauge wire, ceramic magnets, 8K ohms. CP90 MIDDLE & NECK Slightly cleaner than a vintage P90. Clear, open tone with slightly less hum than most other P90’s. Middle pickup is RWRP for hum-cancelling when used with bridge or neck pickups. 42 gauge wire, ceramic magnets, 6.5K ohms. KORINA BODY Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing these lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics. BASS CONTOUR This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips PIN-LOCK TUNERS A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes. Also, the posts are custom height, eliminating the need for a second string tree. WILKINSON WVS50 IIK TREMOLO Features include saddles that lock to the baseplate, adjustable arm swing tension, and a push-in/no freeplay arm. Combined with a graphite nut and pin-lock tuners, it stays in tune even under aggressive whammy action. GRAPHITE NUT There's a graphite impregnated nut on all Reverend instruments.
