Double header today! ...A short hat lecture on proper hat storage and afterwards.. a demonstration of a new $22.70 Distortion Pedal by ISET Pedals I was used to being satisfied with ISET pedals, they give you reliability for almost nothing, (usually around the $20-25 area) I concluded that although many players would be totally happy and more than satisfied with this pedal.. I found it to be an EXCEPTIONAL lead tone, I loved playing solos with it, the notes would stretch and howl in an expressive way, It’s a cliche, but..like a cranked up tube amp.. I’d use this for a lead pedal, I generally don’t use high gain.. for chords and rhythm guitar I’d use my boosts,and then click this distortion on for a solo.. it’s got a throaty,Billy gibbons, Joe Walsh thing going on, and the bottom doesn’t drop out, like with a Tube Screamer. Good little pedal for the price,I’d probably pay up to 4-5x the price for this tone if it was marketed in a more expensive,colorful way.. Or even cute artwork in one color.. The pedal market is saturated with so ma y gain pedals, this one will obviously be great for people on a budget, or even stocking stuffers.. but make no mistake, it’s a very useable,dynamic pedal with no obvious flaws in EQ, and also no noise or tone suck, Whichever PCB was chosen for this pedal, it’s a good one,If I closed my eyes and pictured an OCD or Distortion Plus..or some more expensive pedal, it’s totally believable..this is a decent pedal, good to stuff in your case in case the back line is unacceptable,break it out Thanks for watching, if u like my content, or my channel in general, please subscribe?
