HBSBdesign's video: Doctor Who - Magpie Cyber Invasion Television

@Doctor Who - Magpie Cyber Invasion Television
This is my custom Magpie Cyber Invasion Television. WARNING FLASHING IMAGES The TV is a retro 60's design and when the channel switch is turned it displays an image of a old Invasion Cyberman from the 2nd Doctor's era walking down the steps of St. Pauls Cathedral. I thought this would be cool as it looks like a TV that would have been around in 1968 when the Cybermen invaded Earth and they could have been caught on live TV. The Magpie branding comes from the Doctor Who episode "The Idiot's Lantern" and is often used as an in-joke on electrical equipment seen on the show. The screen flickers and then distorts like a old TV and can even be set to auto and activated by sound for a Doctor Who display. It's quite hard to get a good shot of the TV as the flickering makes the focus shift and it plays havoc with the white balance on my camera it's much brighter and sharper in real life. As a extra Easter Egg there is a voice chip built in of a Cyberman voice which can be activated by turning the channel switch. The voice is a Earthshock Cyberman so it's not the correct voice for this Cyberman but it's added as a extra mainly because I had the chip and this can be deactivated by removing the button cells underneath. Maybe some 80's Cybermen have intercepted the signal and are joining in from the future...Yes we will go with that.
