HSG Unlimited's video: THE VAULT A Horror Story From The World of Fallout Short Story Audiobook

'The Vault' is a horror story set in the world of Fallout written by yours truly. I'd had it in mind to write a horror short in the world of the games which I love for some time, and finally sat down to write it last night. Fast forward a day and here is the finished short for your enjoyment. Fallout lends itself to so much more in the way of dread and tension than the games themselves tend to actually deliver on, and I personally long for a more strict horror interpretation of the elements therein. From the mutated and deadly flora and fauna, to the inherently eerie and dilapidated locations lost to time... I had it in mind to give this story the feel which you would expect from a playthrough of some happenstance encounter on a Fallout map, with pieces of information and audio logs pieced together from holotapes and scribbled notes, but framed with more of the God's eye view of events which a straight up story format allows for and is suited to.
