I was very late to the party since I played them for the first time last year, but I had the benefit of playing them right through in one go, and loved them! The first game in particular had an incredible dark, synthy sci-fi soundtrack which I loved and bought on CD :D So of course it seemed natural to cover it! The standout track for me has always been Virmire Ride, as Virmire was one of my favourite parts of the game. We decided to combine it with the Virmire Assault battle theme (unfortunately never officially released :() to build to an epic climax! It was also the first time I used brass in Philharmonik and I think it went pretty well :) I think this is the first time I've played bass with a pick for a cover, something I'm not very good at at all, so hopefully that went well. And Anne-Sophie got to contribute some amazing fuzz lead sounds! Strings and brass programmed with the Miroslav Philharmonik VST. Drums programmed with shortcircuit. Recorded and mixed in Cubase and video edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 12.
