Space author David Hitt moderated a panel after a showing of the Skylab documentary Searching for Skylab. https://searchingforskylab.com The director of the film, Dwight Steven-Boniecki, was joined by (from left to right) , Astronaut Dr. Ed Gibson (Skylab 4), Col Jack Lousma (Skylab 3, STS-3), Mary Cohn (Col Lousma's daughter), Sue Bean (Al Bean's first wife), Amy Sue Bean (Al Bean's daughter), Willy Weaver (MSFC Skylab Engineer), Roy, John Reeves (Skylab engineer), Herb Baker (NASA JSC alum and son of Skylab parasol seamstress Alyene Baker), and space author Jay Chladek. Skylab Astronauts Col Gerry Car and Dr. Owen Garriott, and Owen's son and ISS visitor Richard Garriott joined the panel via Skype. This video was recorded at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center National Geographic Theater on February 8, 2019. A note on quality: To my surprise (and chagrin), they didn't have anyone videoing the amazing panel, and it seemed presumptuous of me to bring my humble camcorder and audio equipment (though I wish I had), so I kept my iPhone out for the whole of it! As they say, the best camera is the one you have on you!
