Hang-Kep Egyesulet's video: Cooperate Understand Tolerate Empower - a youth exchange in Hortobagy Hungary

During 22-31 July 2019 Hortobagy was home to the 10-day youth exchange. Young people from Nort-Macedonia, Poland, Romania and Hungary gathered to engage in activities centered around Cooperation, Understanding, Tolerance and Empowerment (hence CUTE), with the hope of bringing back and implementing these learnings in their own communities. From horse riding, cooperation during a treasure hunt on Hortobagy river and communication initiating biking, to volunteering in the Bird Hospital and maintenance work, this was an intense and rewarding experience. Not only was there an opportunity to learn about Hungarian culture, but also to exchange with each other their different lived experiences; this mainly took place in the evenings in the spirited form of cultural evenings including BBQ’s, singing and dancing.
