Hang-Kep Egyesulet's video: Empowered by Nature - Short Term Volunteering August 2019 Hortobagy

www.hangkep.hu Empowered by Nature is the name of the short-term European Solidarity Corps volunteering that involved 13 young participants from 7 European countries. During the month of August in 2019 the young change-makers helped the work of the Birdhospital Foundation in Hortobagy. After arrival they participated at an on-arrival training where intercultural adaption, basics of Hungarian-English and the practice of body language were in the focus and of course several team-building and nature-related activities were organised. The volunteer team helped the renovation of the Birdpark and with the treatment and recovery of the injured wild birds in the Birdhospital. This video shows the first days of the team after arrival.
