We breakfast at Cabanas and visit Minnie Mouse and Pluto before heading out to Grand Cayman. The port at Grand Cayman is different than most in that the cruise ships do not dock on land. Instead, the Disney Wonder weighs anchor a little bit away from the island, and we ride a taxi boat to the land. What a fun way to travel! Once on the Grand Cayman island, we spend some time shopping and enjoying the sights before stopping at a gelato shop. The gelato is absolutely delicious. We continue exploring and notice an abundance of chickens walking freely through the streets. Clara thinks this is hilarious. After a few hours on the island, we taxi back to the Disney Wonder for a quick nap. Tonight is Pirate Night! While Clara sleeps, Josh visits with Captain Jack Sparrow. Naptime is soon over, and everyone gets dressed in their best pirate gear. Tonight is an extra special pirate night because Clara has decided to start her own pirate crew. We spend the entire evening meeting with characters, castmembers, and crew, and we invite each one to join her 'nice' pirate crew. If they agree to join, they are awarded with a piece of pirate booty. Of course, Clara tells everyone to bury it so Captain Hook can't find it. This is such a fun evening! Dinner is at Animator's Palate, and tonight is the Animation Magic Show. Upon arrival, we all take some time to draw our pictures, and then during the feast, we watch our pictures come to life on the video screens. Everyone is laughing and smiling. Finally, we all journey to the Lido deck to watch the fan-favorite Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Show followed by the fireworks. We love pirate night so much! This has been an absolutely amazing day, and we are so thankful that we were able to enjoy this experience. Thank you for watching.
