Walt Disney World Vlog Day 3: Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Cast Preview Day! This series takes place in August 2019 and was a particularly exciting weekend for us as we were among the first to witness the brand new Star Wars expansion land at Hollywood Studios (thanks to the generosity of our dear friends, Ashley and Jaymie). ***For our most recent adventures, follow us on Instagram*** @HappilyEverAfterAdventures Day 3 begins with a family character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (located inside the Grand Floridian). Dennis and Kate join the group, and Clara has a blast meeting all of the British characters- including Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is exquisite. Back at Copper Creek Canyons, Clara takes some time to make a slap bracelet and tie-dye t-shirt with some Wilderness Lodge cast members. She will be spending the rest of the day with Kate and Dennis. Now the real excitement begins! Josh and Amanda meet with Ashley and Jaymie and drive to Hollywood Studios. It is time for the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge cast preview! We enter the park with time to spare (we have an appointment time for Galaxy's Edge) so we decide to enjoy the Muppet Vision 3D attraction. It is time to enter the new Star Wars expansion, and Josh is absolutely "fanning" out! The detail is INCREDIBLE, and the land is absolutely immersive; upon entering, you absolutely feel like you are in a different world! We take some time exploring and taking pictures (and seeing Chewbacca from afar), and before we know it, it is time for us to ride the new Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run attraction. Just like the surrounding world, the detailed work inside the queue is incredible. Josh can't stop "freaking out" when we all enter the waiting area for the Millennium Falcon. The actual ride is very entertaining, and we immediately book another reservation spot in hopes to ride it again. The rest of the day is spent exploring Galaxy's Edge- visiting the various shops, sampling the various food venues, interacting with the strolling characters, and even grabbing a drink at Oga's Cantina. The entire evening is indescribably amazing, and we are so thankful for Ashley and Jaymie for inviting us to experience this once-in-a-lifetime cast preview opportunity. It was the simply the best! :) This is such an amazing weekend getaway, and we are so thankful to our friends for inviting us to the Cast Preview weekend of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
