We very quickly breakfast at Cabanas, and then we disembark the ship. We do not have any excursions planned for this day; instead, we decide to explore the local area- including the outdoor mall. Almost immediately upon our arrival, Clara (reluctantly) convinces Callie to take some pictures with her and some local Macaws. This turns out to be one of the funniest moments of the entire trip, as Callie is very frightened at the closeness of the colorful parrots. We shop and lunch at one of the local restaurants (which has a VERY yummy homemade queso!). After a few hours on land, we walk back to the ship. Everyone takes a brief nap, and then it is time for the evening activities. First up is a special Christmas show in the lobby atrium that includes a visit by none other than Santa Claus, himself! We follow this with a few dances and interactions with some of our favorite Disney characters, including Pluto, Donald, and Daisy. Tonight, the adults have a dinner reservation at Palo. This is an absolutely breathtaking experience! Our server wows us with information, the food is beyond incredible, and we share so many laughs that we cannot tell if our stomachs are hurting from too much food or too much laughter. What a great night! Clara is surprised to find that she has been pixie-dusted with some special Moana themed sheets from our room attendant, Ionie. So sweet! The last activity of the night is the always-favorite 'Match Your Mate' show. Once again, we are filled with an abundance of laughter. What a great way to end the evening! This has been an absolutely amazing day, and we are so thankful that we were able to enjoy this experience. Thank you for watching.
