Happily Ever After Adventures's video: Christmas at Disneyland Day 5- Cars Land Carthay and Christmas Entertainment

*Follow our most recent adventures on our new Instagram account: * It's that magical time of year! Day Five of our Christmas at Disneyland vacation is upon us. Today starts with an early morning at California Adventure. Staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel allows Josh and Amanda early access to the park. This first ride of the day is Monster's Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue. Next is Radiator Springs Racers, in the new Cars Land. Clara is too little for this ride, so Amanda and Josh take advantage of the ride-swap program; this allows one adult to ride as the other watches the child. When the ride is over, both adults switch, allowing the second adult to ride without having to wait in line again. As Amanda rides, Josh and Clara pay a visit to Lightning McQueen. The rest of the morning is spent visiting with some characters- including the Country Bears and Daisy Duck. A ride on Ariel's Undersea Adventure follows. Kathy and Dennis join the group, and every walks to Carthay Circle for lunch. This is the premier restaurant at Disney California Adventure, and it is absolutely fantastic! The décor is beautiful, and the food is delicious; everyone has a wonderful time. Clara takes a nap, and then the rest of the night is spent enjoying the evening Christmas activities at California Adventure. There seems to be live music and entertainment at every corner. Clara even gets an impromptu meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse (which absolutely makes her night!). Every indulges in the walk-through bakery tour (which includes free bread samples), and the final ride of the night is King Triton's Carousel of the Sea.
