How To Check If Coordinates A, B, C & D Forms a Square? | Coordinate Geometry | Exercise 7.1 Part 3 Learn how to determine if given four coordinates forms a Square or not? Correction We also need to show of both diagonals are equal in order to prove coordinates forms a Square. Diagonal AC = sq rt((9-3)sq + (4-4)sq) = sq rt (6sq + 0 sq) = sq rt(36) = 6 BD = sq rt((6-6)sq + (1 - 7)sq)) = sq rt (0 sq + (-6)sq) = sq rt(36) = 6 Diagonals are equal and all sides are equal. Therefore ABCD is a Square.
