Health Department Doda holds series of awareness programme with HOIs from Education Department. Hardev Manhas DODA, MARCH 06:- In order to generate mass awareness regarding Coronavirus infection, the District Health Society Doda led by Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah on the directions of worthy DDC Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode conduct series of workshop sessions with the Head of Institutions of all Govt as well as Private Schools of the District in the meeting hall of DC Office Doda today. Other than CMO Doda Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, the sensitization workshop was attended by CEO Doda Tariq Hussain, DHO Dr. M A Tariq, District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat, BMEO NHM Ghat Mashhood Latief and District Media Coordinator from Health Department Faizan Ali Tramboo. In series of different sessions, more than thousands of HOIs, Incharges and Teachers from different schools besides officials from Health Department attended the awareness workshop. On the onset of the awareness programme, CMO Doda Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah welcomed all the participants and briefed /educate them about all the aspects of Coronavirus which is commonly known with COVID-19 name. CMO Doda Dr Shah informed the participants that the awareness programme was organized with the mission to sensitize the education department, staff and students regarding the disease so as to make the District free from any epedimic. District Epidemologist Umar Anayat Khan in detail briefed the participants about the causes, symptoms and preventive measure of COVID-19, besides live demonstration through projector about Coronavirus, different hand washing techniques and hygiene was given to them. CMO Doda Dr. Shah also urged upon all the HOIs to disseminate the said protective measure information/awareness against Coronavirus in their respective schools and society as well whereas he also informed that Health Deptt has constituted block level teams of Doctors and Paramedical Staff across the District who have been deployed to visit all schools across the District to generate more and more awareness among students. Moreover, CMO Doda Dr Shah added that District Administration and Health Department have taken many steps to contain the spread about the virus but generating mass awareness amongst general public is extremely important to prevent and reduce transmission of the novel Coronavirus.
