My Butterfly Garden Tart looks interesting. I was going for a cartoon, bright, beautiful butterfly, but it turned out more like a moth. The butterfly is very natural looking. I will most likely have to do a 3D butterfly to achieve that lively, cartoon affect. To make the crust, pulverize old fashion oats, cinnamon, salt, and cinnamon to a flour using a food processor. Add in water and coconut oil to the food processor and pulse to combine. Pulse and press the crust mixture into a 9 inch tart pan. Bake for 10-15 minutes until brown and dry. For the filling, puree the flesh of the avocado, banana, and vanilla extract in the food processor. Spread it evenly over a cooled tart crust. To make the butterfly decorated topping, line up the 4 pitted dates down the center of the tart for the caterpillar body. Make the antenna of the butterfly with raisins. The orange butterfly wings can be made from the segments of an orange. I supreme my segments for better color. Outline the wings with raisins for the black color contrast that some butterflies have, the cartoon like ones that I was trying emulate. And beauty was this butterflies name, before I ate it.
