Hii friends, I am Sandeep from my Youtube channel 'Heavenly journeys" and today I bring to you my video on Mahabharata Light and Sound Show of International Geeta jayanti Mahotsav Jyotisar Kurukshetra. Geeta jayanti festival is celebrated in the land of Kurukshetra, Haryana State, India every year at the banks of Brahma Sarovar in the months of November and December. But now Geeta Jayanti is celebrated in 48 kos area including Jyotisar. Jyotisar is the main tourist attraction of Kurukshetra, because the knowledge of Bhagwat Geeta is preached in Jyotisar. So for Geeta jayanti Mahotsav, Jyotisar is also the main centre point as the Brahma Sarovar. Mahabharata Light and Sound Show is displayed in Brahma Sarovar as well as in Jyotisar at the occasion of Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav Kurukshetra. Kurukshetra is famous for its legendary battle of Mahabharata fought between Kauravas and Pandavas in Kurukshetra some 5000 years ago near the banks of Saraswati river. In that epic battle of Mahabharata, the knowledge of Bhagwat Geeta was preached. So in order to celebrated the great knowledge of Bhagwat Geeta, the Geeta Jayanti festival is celebrated every year. Just like Trade fair and Suraj Kund mela, Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav is gaining popularity day by day. In International Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav, you can enjoy the religious and cultural activities such as traditonal dance of different states. You can buy various things and commodities for your household such as cloths, shoes, ornaments, crockeries, books, toys, sceneries and enjoy different delicious meal. There are various cultural activities and exhibitions which you can watch while you are in Geeta jayanti Mahotsav, Kurukshetra.
