Hii friends, I am Sandeep from my channel Heavenly journeys and today I bring to you a video on Kalpa Hill Station in the kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Kalpa is a beautiful hill station nestled in the kinnaur region of Himachal Pradesh in India at the height of 9711ft above sea level. Kalpa lies 265 km from state capital Shimla and 330 km from Chandigarh and 560 km from National capital Delhi. Kalpa recieves immense snowfall in the winter months and famous for its apples orchards and lofty kinner kailash mountains. Kalpa is just 15 km from Powari town which lies on the NH05(Hindustan Tibet) Highway along side the mighty Satluj river and just 8 km from Recong Peo which is the headquater of Kinnaur. The road to Kalpa from Powari is very secnic along side the apricots, pine, deodars and Apple orchards and the view of mighty Kinner Kailash mountains. There are many sightseeing attractions which you can explore while in Kalpa such as Kalpa Bodh monestary, Kothi Temple, Chakka meadows, Roghi village, suicidal point(Rolla cliff), Recong Peo and trek to sacred Shivling which is also called Kinner Kailash yatra. There are other famous places such as Chitkul, Sangla valley, Nako lake and kaza which you can explore near Kalpa. As Tibet border is very near to Kalpa, so the landscape and culture is both Bodh and Hindu in Kalpa. While visiting the spiti area, Kalpa is a beautiful rest enroute nestled in the mighty mountains of Kailash range. One of Lord Shiv's five sacred Kailash is very near to Kalpa, popularly known as Kinner Kailash, which is visited from the nearby village of Tangling after crossing the Satluj river. Also Lord Shiva and Bodh religion are being worshipped by the kinnauri people. So Kalpa and Kinnaur is a beautiful region of Himachal Pradesh, India.
