Hii friends, this is Sandeep and you are watching my youtube channel Heavenly journeys. Today I bring before you my video on Dharamshala and Mcleodganj Himachal Pradesh. Dharamshala lies in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. Dharamshala is divided in two parts, lower part is called Dharamshala and upper part is called Mcleodganj. Dharamshala is at the 5500 ft above sea level and Mcleodganj lies at 7800ft above sea level. The total distacne between Dharamshala to Mcleodganj is 9 km. Dharamshala is known to be the Little Tibet or Lahasa in India because Tibet's Government in exile is running from their by Tibet's religious guru Dalai Lama. Dharamshala is 240 km from Chandigarh, 495 km from Delhi and 18 km is from main Kangra town. The journey from Chandigarh to Dharamshala is very beautiful and scenic by passing through Hoshiarpur, Una, Amb and Kangra. Dharamshala and Mcleodganj is famous for various attraction points such as Dalai Lama Asharam, many beautiful Moanestries, Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, Palampur tea gardens, beautiful view of mighty Dhauladhar mountains, its rich market, food, Tibetans food, night life, Bhagsunag waterfall, Dharamkot village, Naddi village and many beautiful treks such as Triund trek, Kareri Lake trek and Dal lake trek. There are many staying options and Hotels in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj to stay. In every season tourist come to Mcleodganj Dharamshala to enjoy its natural beauty. Dharamshala is set to be the second capital of Himachal Pradesh after Shimla.
