Hello friends, I am Sandeep and you are watching my youtube channel Heavenly journeys and today I bring to you the video Harsil hill station in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, India. Harsil is a beautiful hill station in the western garwhal himalayas situated at 9007 feet above sea level. Harsil hill station is developed by a brithisher Fredrick Wilson and it is also an army cantonment of ITBP and Garwhal scouts. Harsil recieves immense snowfall in the winter months and famous for its galcial streams and apple orchards. Harsil village is very peaceful and beautiful and situated at the confluence of three beautiful rivers Kakora Gad, Jalandhari Gad and Bhagirathi river. Harsil is also famous for its "Ram teri Ganga Maili" film's shooting place. There are numerous sightseeing attractions near Harsil such as Mandakini waterfall, Bagori village, Mukhba village, Dharali, Nelong valley, Gartang Gali, Bhaironghati, Gangotri and Gaumukh trek. There are couple of hotels, camps and homestays to stay in Harsil such as Nelong Homestay, Sunder Homestay and Homestay Snow vista.
