Heeppie's video: Circus Wisconsin USA - Circus 1974 Full Album HD

@Circus (Wisconsin, USA) - Circus (1974) [Full Album] [HD]
Ultra RARE band from Steven's Point (Wisconsin, USA). In 1974 was released one and only self-titled album. Artist: Circus Title: Circus Year: 1974 Format: LP Label: Hemisphere Circus were a rock band (with progressive elements) consisting of Brett Peterson (vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, banjo, dobro); Randy Glodowksi (vocals, acoustic & electric guitars); Fred Omernik (vocals, piano, clavinet, organ, synthesizer); Wayne Kostroski (vocals, bass) and Ray Cyr (drums, congas, percussion). Their first (and last) album was released on the Hemisphere label in 1974, (they also released a single for Panda Records "I'm Walkin'" b/w "Bar Room Wiggy" the following year, these tracks were recorded for a second album that was never released.) "The first time I heard this LP, I did not know who I was listening to. The first cut on the album sounds like fairly mainstream rural flavored boogie rock, and I promptly let my attention wander elsewhere. Not that I don't like rural flavored boogie rock, it's the mainstream thing. But by the end of the cut, I was thinking to myself "this is pretty good, maybe I'll pay attention and see which direction this heads in". For the most part, it just gets better and better, until you get to the 12 and half min. "Old Age" (originally done by Rhinoceros) which must be heard to be believed! These guys can cook! All are excellent musicians on there chosen instruments. And with the high caliber of production present, one has to wonder if, had they been discovered by a larger label, their album wouldn't have become a classic by now. If you're like me, and can overlook a distinct mainstream orientation if the record is almost completely unknown, give this a spin. It's well worth checking out." Track Listing: 1. Fat Boogie Mama 2. You To Me 3. Let Me Tell You 4. Skin And Bones 5. Arrow 6. Travlin' Blooze 7. Old Age 8. C'mon If You're Comin' This band is GOOD and very recommended by me to all fans of 70's rock-music. Enjoy!
