“I’m Migrant”, this piece starts in a country, where women are not allowed to dance, man can’t freely work their land, children are mistreated and there is no freedom of expression. A few people escape courageously and take a boat, one dies. They arrive in a new country exhausted but full of hope. Alas, it is not the most welcoming place … until they change, unite and support each other. “I’m Migrant”, we are migrants, CreationDancers are immigrants from Denmark, France and Russia or descendants of Armenians, Irish and Italians parents. We are all migrants coming to this planet for this lifetime, and then at the end of this life journey, we don’t even know where we’ll be going, so we might as well support freedom of flight.
