Cavill discussed the musical film Little Red Riding Hood with co-star Joey Fatone on the set in 2003. In the movie, which was released straight to DVD in the United States in 2006, Cavill played the Hunter while the 'N Sync alum portrayed the Big Bad Wolf. Cavill also rocked long locks in the 2006 movie Tristan + Isolde and the 2007 fantasy film Stardust. In his interview with E! News, Cavill said he agreed to star in Red Riding Hood because it was a "nice, light-hearted, relaxed, fun movie," which was different from the types of projects he'd worked on before. He also gave kudos to Fatone.
