Convulse was a Finnish Death metal / Melodic Death/Grind/ Rock band, founded in 1988 in Nokia. The band was initially known as Speed metal-playing S.D.S. Thereafter, their music gathered more rock and doom metal influence in their music, probably due to influence of a musical trend started up by such bands as Xysma and Entombed.
