Putrid was a Finnish Death metal band, founded in 1990, in Ylistaro. Discography : Rehearsal 3-15-91 (Demo, 1991) Exhumation (Demo, 1991) Rehearsal 9-10-1991 (Demo, 1991) God Forsaken (EP, 1992) Band started up as normal Death metal band with the usual lyrical themes for the genre, but started to lean more and more towards Doom Metal. After the recordings of their first EP "God Forsaken" in April, 1991, the band changed their name to God Forsaken. Keltic Records released a Putrid compilation, entitled"Re-Exhumation", that contains most of their discography ( excluding their first rehearsal ).
