Hike Camp's video: Vont Spark Headlamp

Vont has sent me A two pack of their Spark headlamps for my Test Review & thoughts. Vont is an indoor/outdoor lighting, audio and electronic kitchen scales. Not to mention sponsoring a giveaway of these lamps. I DO NOT WORK FOR VONT AND WAS NOT PAID TO PRODUCE THIS VIDEO! What is in my video is my opinion alone. The Vont Spark is a budget answer to higher priced hiking/camping headlamps... and still has a decent quality built in. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 white light modes Low (approx 67 LM), Medium approx 133 LM), High (a full 200 LM) and strobe ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 red light modes, solid red, SOS and strobe. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 inch wide adjustable elastic headband. Light Dimensions: My measurements (Approx) of 2 1/4 in wide, 1 1/4 in deep at the thickest point and 1 2/8 in tall. Battery life is advertised as 8 hours on Low, 3 hours on high and somewhere in between for medium. weighs only 1.6 oz or 45.5 grams I weighed mine with batteries and it was at 2.5 oz or 71 grams --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shock proof for a 1.2 meter drop --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Waterproof for sustained precipitation but I would not recommend immersion. IPX5 waterproof rating. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OVERALL THOUGHTS: Compares favorably with the Black Diamond Cosmo but not as powerful as the Black Diamond Spot... I believe Vont Spark will easily fulfill most headlamp requirements of the average hiking or camping needs at less cost than name brand headlamps with the bonus of getting 2 instead of one.
