Shimla-On Friday, mortal remains of Virbhadra Singh, better known as Raja Ji/Raja Saheb, were brought to the Shimla Ridge Maidan from his residence, Holly Lodge, Jakhu, and kept there for a few hours to let people pay their last respects. A large number of people lined up to pay their respects. Later in the afternoon, the mortal remains were taken to the HP Congress Committee Headquarters near Lift, where Rahul Gandhi was to visit. The occasion was such that the police and administration couldn’t check large gathering of the people and media person and maintain social distancing.
