Himachal Watcher's video: Himachal: HP NHM Contractual Staff Warns Govt of Protest

Contractual employees of HP National Health Mission have opened the front against the state government over repeated neglect in regularization. On December 30, 2021, Amin Chand -the President of the ‘NHM Anubandh Karmchari Sangh’- gave a media statement warning the government of testing their patience. He said that employees had been working as long as over two decades with HP NHM on a contractual basis. Several states, including the neighbouring states, have already regularized the contractual NHM employees, but HP Government was stuck at false assurances and announcements that were nothing more than lollipops. The union has warned the government of more aggressive protests in future if their appeal is ignored any further. Watch the video to hear the full statement.
