History With Hilbert's video: Why Has Uganda Invaded the Congo to Fight the ADF

In late November 2021, the Ugandan People's Defence Forces (UPDF) announced it would be sending troops across its western border and into the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in order to combat a brutal rebel group operating in its mountains. Their target are the ADF, the Allied Democratic Forces, who formed as armed opposition against Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni back in 1995 following the merging of several rebel groups. Since their inception they've terrorised the borderlands between the DRC and Uganda despite several largescale offensive by both the Congolese and Ugandan Army with support from the UN.
