V8 Supercars Champion, Russell Ingall makes history at next week's Sucrogen Townsville 400 when he breaks the record for the most starts in Australian Touring Car/V8 history. Ingall will make his 226th event start, breaking John Bowe's long-standing record of 225. Ingall visited his Supercheap Auto Racing Team's Melbourne workshop to oversee the team's preparations for his record-breaking event and change the number on his Holden V8 Supercar to 226 to commemorate the occasion.
