Holiday Extras Travel Guides's video: Where To Stay In DUBAI

@🇦🇪 Where To Stay In DUBAI 🇦🇪
India is here to give you the lowdown on where to stay in Dubai. It's not all 6-star hotels and super expensive apartments (although there's plenty of that too), there are lots of more affordable and (dare we say) interesting places you can stay too. If this is your first time coming to Dubai then let us know if this video was useful, we'd love to hear your feedback :) Want to learn more about travelling to Dubai? Dubai Marina is an artificial canal surrounded by high rise buildings. It’s the most Westernised area in the city and where you will find most European expats living. For this reason there are plenty of restaurants and bars, and it’s close to the popular Jumeirah Beach Residence for those wanting some sun, sea and sand. The downside to this area is it is a  bit of a distance from the Dubai Mall and Downtown Dubai, but don’t let that put you off, it’s very well connected to the metro and then there is always Uber. Downtown is the most recognisable and iconic place to stay in Dubai. All tourists find themselves gravitating towards this area at one point. It’s home to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s largest mall and the famous fountain show. For these reasons this area is also one of the most expensive in the city. Dubai isn’t associated with ‘budget friendly travel’ but this doesn't mean it can’t be done. Deira is the best place to find budget friendly accommodation, and the best place to find true soul in this material metropolis of a city. In Deira you will find local shops, street food, and local people. An eclectic mix of cultures have settled here and with this a colourful community has come alive making this a really enriching area. It is one of the few parts of the city where you can really walk the streets and indulge in the delicious food vendors that feed the locals.  Another reason to stay in Deira is its proximity to the airport. The perfect location for a good night’s sleep before a late night or early morning flight.  Palm Jumeirah (or The Palm) is one of Dubai’s most recognisable landmarks. The man made island attached to Dubai’s mainland gets its name from its palm shape. It is very much a ‘statement’ place to stay, and it’s not for those looking to do Dubai on a  budget, but if you are looking to splash the cash then this might be the area for you. After all, this is where you will find the Atlantis Hotel, an ultra-modern luxury five-star resort that was the first on the Palm.  Thanks for watching, and if you’re planning a trip to Dubai then you might want to check out our handy video on how to speak Arabic. And of course, don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. See you later, bye!
