Holly O'Grady's video: GREAT WALL OF CHINA Jinshanling VEGAN ROBOT Hot Pot TEA MARKET

We absolutely love the Great Wall of China! This was our first time at the Jinshanling section of the wall and despite the rain, it did not disappoint! This section is not the easiest to get to from Beijing (takes usually an 1 1/2 hours by car (we hired a driver)). There are other sections that are closer (Mutianyu) and can be easily accessed via bus. As I mentioned in the video, the Great Wall is an absolute must when you are in China, so make sure you carve out some time when you come. Laoshe Teahouse is the name of the teahouse near Tiananmen Square that we went to. It was so nice to just chill out and sip some tea. They rent private rooms for 50 RMB and then the tea is a bit on the pricier side, I think we spent around 220 RMB for an hour in the room and two different teas. I still think it was worth it though! Maliandao Tea Market was so much fun!! If you love tea as much as we do, head over to that area. You can take the subway over there and just enjoy all of the many tea shops leading up to the actual market. Everyone was so friendly and willing to let us try different teas whether we bought or not. We did end up buying some because it was just too good not to :) Haidilao Hot Pot was seriously amazing! It was such a fun and unique experience and the hot pot was fantastic (and I'm usually not a huge fan of hot pot)! I was so impressed by the cleanliness and service. Our waiter was over-the-top helpful and made sure everything we ordered was vegan. I don't know if robotic restaurants are the future, but I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in Beijing.
