The Damselfly Nymph is an aquatic insect in my area that is often over looked. Ideally this pattern is a stillwater patter which is great for lakes and ponds. But, a couple years ago while fishing in a local stream tucked back in the woods I started seeing a lot of damselflies hanging tin the grass and flying around the stream. As I started looking around I began to find the empty shucks of the Damselfly nymphs. Ever since I've been trying to find a pattern that I liked and could tie fairly quickly.
