Hello Friends I welcome you to this video - Pilgrims going to famous religious pilgrimage tarkeshwar lord shiva mandir carrying Ganges water and also on my Holy horizon channel, Over 200 years old (prachin) this sacred popular beautiful Indian crowded temple is always popular for Hindu devotee, there are so many name of Lord Shiva like as – Debadidev Mohadev Shiv Sankar Umanath Biswanath Sandeswar Amarnath Mritunjoy Bhola Nath Moheswar Lingaraj Rudra Dev Nilkantha Nataraj etc and one of the many names of Lord Shiva is Taraknath or Tarakeshwar and It’s why this place and rail station is named according to the holy name of God, It is in the district of Hooghly West Bengal India and near about 57 km distance from Howrah, it takes approximate 1 hour and 30 minutes journey by train, The Great Tarkeshwar’s has a full of special religious sentiment from ancient time because of discover the ‘Shib Linga’. there is a story, according to local mythology, ancient time the temple was built after a prophecy in a dream to mendicant brother of Raja Vishnu Das, he discovered a “Linga” created in stone in a jungle near Tarakeswar, And then a lot of amazing miracles have happened after that, In this way people can understands the Vole Baba Taraknath's greatness and thus in 1729 AD, the temple (Mandira or ksetram either kovil or alayam and deula) of Lord Tarkanath was built. it is a very crowded place in various time of the seasons due religious worship (puja) festival or ceremony, and same you are watching so many people’s gathering here in the months month of “Sraban” or “Sawan”, ie English July – August, also in the month of “Chaitra” ie English March – April and in the time of Jhap charak Shivaratri and Gajan etc, so many devotee people came here to get the blessings of God Shiva by pouring Ganges water on Shiva's head, so in this way the festival and fairs are create here in as usual way in every year such like this.
