I purchased a new Hand Mitt from Grampa's Garden after the 10 year old one started to fall apart. We use this Hand Warmer a lot during the winter months in Massachusetts. My elderly mother had a stroke years ago and also has type 2 diabetes. She likes to use this Mitt to warm her hands and it also provides a moist Aromatic heat after you warm it up in the microwave oven. It can also be used as a cold pac. The documentation says it may help relieve hand and wrist pain caused by arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, or circulatory problems.
