Hometowns And Heroes's video: Prescott Arizona s Sharlot Hall Museum Historical

@Prescott Arizona's Sharlot Hall Museum, Historical
Sharlot M. Hall lived from 1870 to 1943, and during her lifetime, she collected pictures, buildings, documents, and history of Arizona's beginnings as a Territorial State and then as a State of the United States. Because of her vision of the importance of preserving how it all unfolded, who were the original Governors of the Territory, all the happenings of the Territory, and even moving the first cabin that housed the meeting making Prescott the territorial capital of Arizona along with the first Governors house and then building other structures with government funds during the depression, Sharlot was able to offer to all Arizonans and Americans a full and complete look at the history of the time. She is our Hometown Hero because even to this day Prescott, Arizona, draws people from around the world to visit and learn at the Sharlot Hall Museum. She was some kind of woman! Dedicated and energetic. Fred Veil is the Executive Director and Mick Woodcock is the Chief Curator; they do a wonderful job of expanding and promoting all the things that the Museum offers, including events throughout the year and their famous Christmas.
