Upon arriving in the center of the Keyblade Graveyard, Aqua encounters Terra and Ventus, and together, they take on Xehanort and Vanitas! However, they end up getting separated, and just when Ventus thinks he can get the drop on Xehanort, he ends up frozen!. Aqua catches him before he crashed to the ground, but can do little more than watch as Ventus tries to break free. She quickly has to protect Ventus when a mysterious man shows up, and after dealing with him, she is quickly struck down by Vanitas! Upon waking, she finds Mickey there waiting for her and together they search for Ven.
