So happy this song is finally out!!! I wrote this song in my bed 7 years ago in my college apartment while a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I missed my hometown of LA so badly and wanted to encapsulate the chaotic joy that comes from being an LA native and with this video, shot safely in 2019, pre COVID-19, we wanted to share the BEAUTY of America, as we see it. This video is directed, shot, and produced by an entirely female crew, and together we made a point to not only feature but ACCENTUATE the beauty of true America. I hope you all love this.
