First view of the nearly completed Boeing KC-46 Pegasus during final assembly in the Boeing Everett Factory. The nearly completed aircraft closest to the factory door is EMD1. This will be the first to fly, it will fly as a 767-2C, the provisioned freighter that will eventually be finished as a KC-46 tanker. It will fly as a 767-2C until it is certified by the FAA. The aircraft behind it is EMD2. This will be the first test aircraft to fly as a fully provisioned KC-46 tanker in early 2015. EMD stands for "Engineering, Manufacturing, and Design"
