The prodigious offspring of the legend Kostya, Tim Tszyu (23-0, 17 KO’s), made the boxing news today as the announcement was made that he would be fighting Brian “La Bala” Mendoza in October. Both are in mandatory positions in the WBO(Tim) and WBC(Mendoza) for Jermell’s belts. This will be something like an interim title unification fight between two of the best hitters in the Jr Middleweight Division. Shakur’s name was also in the boxing rumor mill…this time it looks like Frank “The Ghost” Martin will be his next opponent.
