Some may be for asthetics, while others may just showcase Ducati's attention to detail. There is a toolbag on the Streetfighter, but it is hidden on the rear right section of the tail and is nearly impossible to access quickly. It can't be accessed by removing the passenger seat, so I'm not exactly sure why it's there. Ducati designed vents on the each side of the tail that allow for air flow through them. They may be for aerodynamics. Can lock the handlebars to the right instead of only to the left. Warning lights alight up on the gauge cluster when you hit a pothole. This is the bike's way of telling you that something is abnormal.
