Off camera, she is a down-to-earth, mom of 2, who has maintained grace and class while going through a horrible custody battle with her ex husband. A New York City judge allowed her ex who was kicked out of the US, to take their son Hermes and daughter Helena to France. So how did Kelly show up to the Gossip Girl Season 5 set every day and interact with her on-screen daughter Blake Lively, knowing her kids are across the ocean? Kelly says she wishes she could be a lunatic and scream and yell. She admits she has moments where she cries but she writes and talks to friends. But most important is for her to stay positive and be a good example for her kids. She tries to look at what can come out of it, and maybe it's happening to her so she can be a voice for other women and men going through child custody battles and at least open up a conversation.
