Howard Day's video: XG-1 Starwing Launch and Flyby WIP 4

@XG-1 Starwing Launch and Flyby! WIP#4
Finally got the full-resolution Magister model in the scene (With guns, it's north of 100M polys) with lighting and a background. The XG-1s are still entirely placeholder, I'm working on those now. Thought you all might appreciate a look at some work in progress. :D Todo: Finish XG-1 Starwing models Correct timing on SFX, Engine flash and acceleration on the first XG-1 Add engine flames to the engines of the XG-1s Bring in the background dust and color from scene into scene A pair of Alpha-class gunship launch from an Magister-Class Fleet Carrier in preparation for a combined-force raid on a rebel convoy. The MFC is directly inspired by Eric Guesz's sketch of a hollow-center ISD. I'm sorta positing it as an Imperial equivalent of the Trade Federation Command Ship from Ep1. I will be making my own Starwing, MFC and Missile Boat models for the end result of this... hopefully. :D Music by the fantastic Bastien Boiton! Imperial Nebulon-B by E.C. Henry, modifications and materials by me As always this is rendered in 3DSMax 2021, using VRay Next Ver5 GPU. I'm using dual TITAN RTXs, and a second computer with a 3090 RTX. Render times vary between 1m5s and 3m5s per frame, with about .5s-1s for post effects application per frame. Post in After Effects, using Sapphire by BorisFX for the lens flares.
