Howard Day's video: Imperial Strike 4K Star Wars Ships 10th Edition

I finally finished my XG-1 Starwing Assault Gunboat! (Right Click - Loop to watch'er spin!) Originally seen in the 1994 PC Dos game "X-Wing", the Assault Gunboat has been a fan favorite for a while. More info here: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Alpha-class_Xg-1_Star_Wing/Legends This is very much my take on it - the more commonly accepted shape/form was codified by Ansel and has been widely used in other media. I've always had my own issues with his take, and decided to give it a shot myself. I tried to push the "Lambda-class" shuttle lineage more, and since this is supposed to be a Cygnus Spaceworks project. Music by the fantastic Bastien Boiton! TIE Fighter, Bomber, Interceptor, and Defender by Ansel Hsiao (Fractalsponge), with some geometry modifications/additions and materials by me As always this is rendered in 3DSMax 2021, using VRay Next Ver5 GPU. I'm using a 3090 RTX. Render times between 1m15s and 1m35s per frame, with about .25s-.5s for post effects application per frame. Post in After Effects, using Sapphire by BorisFX for the lens flares, and Red Giant Looks for the color grading.
